The goal of the Little peace ambassadors project is to accommodate, for holiday periods, children between 9 and 11 years old from the refugee camps in Western Sahara.
The Auser offices, housed in a former school, has become a place of welcome for children and their Saharawi adult companions.
The children, who come from the camp near Tindouf (Algeria), spend 20 days in Rivello, 20 days in Naples and 20 days in Ariano Irpino as guests of two other associations.
During their stay children can undergo, if necessary, health screening, analysis and medical treatment.
But above all, for them it is an opportunity to take walks amidst nature, go horse riding and spend days at sea.
The Auser volunteers cook their meals, highlighting fresh and local produce, since in the refugee camps the children eat only long life food coming as part of humanitarian aid.
